About
Hi there! My name is Lauren. I have been on a personal journey toward optimal health and wellness for the better part of my adult life. I’ve dedicated the last few years to educating myself in holistic nutrition, the benefits of whole foods and how the nutritional choices we make on a day to day basis effect our overall wellbeing. In 2022 I received a certification in Nutrition Coaching from Cuesta Community College and am currently furthering my education with a certification in Holistic Nutrition Consulting. I believe that everyone’s nutritional path is unique and I look forward to helping you navigate yours by providing knowledge (we don’t know what we don’t know!), accountability and guidance along the way. If you’re here, you’re curious about better health! I hope that we can work together to turn that curiosity into action and lasting change.
Cheers!
Lauren Minter
Why nutrition coaching?
Everybody needs a push sometimes. My job as your nutrition coach is not only to provide this push, but to walk, or run, with you along the way. I will bring my knowledge and training in nutritional science, body composition, and nutrient dense and holistic food choices and, depending on what your nutritional goals are, I will act as a supportive guide in helping you to reach them.
My Philosophy
I am a firm believer in sustainable lifestyle changes. While popular fad diets may produce results in a shorter amount of time, burn out from over-elimination (ie. cutting out all of your favorite foods), will inevitably cause whatever you started out to correct, to come back, and possibly worse than it ever was to begin with. Whether your goal is to have more energy, lose or gain weight, correct digestive issues or otherwise, I believe that we can work together to find a sustainable balance in your nutrition that feels right for you. Change is not easy, and it is not always comfortable–but neither is being uncomfortable! I am passionate about helping others make the nutritional choices that positively influence and support their overall health and well-being and I look forward to working with you and supporting you along your journey toward what this means for you.
